Haz dark golden color,with a white creamy head.
Aroma yeast, malts, spice.
Medium body.
Taste sweet astart, malts, bit spices, and a good hopsbitter end.
Good brew !

Jul 12, 2008 Huge, dense yellowish head; pretty well-carbonated orange-golden beer. Really sharp nose of greenery, malts, white candi sugar, unripe fruit. Caramel malt, roasted malt and some grassy/greenery hints. Again signs of white candi sugar, as well as impression of scorched sugar. Sharpish MF, well-carbonated, medium bodied. Too sharp to be really enjoyable. But what irks me most, with this particular beer, is the usurping of the name, taken from those of the defunct Waasmunster brewery Thuysbaert, that deserved better.

Mar 22, 2008 Bottle. Unclear, golden colour with a huge white head. Aroma of sourness and brett. Flavour of sourness, sweet malt, and a little "old thing" :o)

Mar 2, 2008 Bottle. Cloudy golden with a huge white bubbly mostly diminishing head. Leaving a good lacing. Sour mouldy yeasty aroma. Sweet and sour tart woodish flavour. Me like!

Pours a hazy pale yellow with a gigantic frothy white head on top. Aroma is nicely spiced, ginger and pepper mixing with light brett notes. Great mouthfeel - rather creamy. Flavour is sweet at first, but gains a nice bretty tartness mixing well with the ginger aspect. Quite nice.

Feb 22, 2008 33 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a collapsing white head. Light citric brett aroma. Flavour is citric, light caramel malt base and a distinct brett flavour. Acidic and citric, ligth sweet beneath. Goes into a nice lingering yeast and brett finish - mellow and yet with an edge.
