JorisPPattyn (4638), Antwerpen, Belgium Jul 12, 2008 Huge, dense yellowish head; pretty well-carbonated orange-golden beer. Really sharp nose of greenery, malts, white candi sugar, unripe fruit. Caramel malt, roasted malt and some grassy/greenery hints. Again signs of white candi sugar, as well as impression of scorched sugar. Sharpish MF, well-carbonated, medium bodied. Too sharp to be really enjoyable. But what irks me most, with this particular beer, is the usurping of the name, taken from those of the defunct Waasmunster brewery Thuysbaert, that deserved better.
