Chocolate and greenery - but old, drying one, leafy - or drying tobacco leaves, as before processing. Dry taste, with slightly tobacco-ash notes; retronasal sugary, toffee-like sweetness, but, as everything, quite restrained in the good sense of the word. Again I’m reminded of drying tobacco leaves. Better than expected. Medium to well bodied, slick, very slightly viscous. Despite my misgivings about the beernamesfactory responsible, as well as about the specific origins of the name of this beer, I cannot but like it. Storm (2685), Amager, Denmark

Pours a great clear brown with a big, staying creamy off white head - great lacing. All in all a beautiful beer. Aroma is sweet, light caramel and some sweet fruits. Good mouthfeel, quite creamy. Flavour is surprisingly bitter with a good roasted malty edge along with some light chocolate. Perhaps a bit unbalanced and weird, but still quite nice. KimJohansen (7130), Copenhagen V, Denmark
