| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 6, 2006 Poured a slightly cloudy yellow to amber color with a big pillowy head. Lots of carbonated bubbles rising to the top (woulda looked nice in a weizen glass). The aroma was somewhat clove-like with some citrus (oranges?) present. The flavor was light for a tripel with some candi sugar under the orange and spices (coriander?). Mouthfeel was much thicker than the flavor, probably too thick. An enjoyable tripel, but in the bottom half of the ones I’ve had from the very likeable style. harrisoni (6800), Ashford, Kent, England

Golden Belgian ale. Some yeast hop aroma, some resiny hop with golden syrup mixed in. Residual sweetness on the end but with some good agressive hop to balance it. Touch of peach as well. Overall just a tad sweet and unsophisticated. Lemon citrus is quite nice though omhper (12229), Stockholm, Sweden
