Feb 17, 2008 Feb. 2007 - Beer poured pale/golden yellow with very little head or lacing. Aroma was extreme grass and flowers. The flavor was sweet pilsner malts with a lot of floral grassy undertones with mild bitterness and a weird soapy flavor which dissipated as it warmed. The hops reminded me of the spices in doritos...and I’m not sure that is a wonderful thing, although it got significantly better as it warmed.

Jan 20, 2008 This is one of the better beers Abita has crafted in years, I would go as far as to say one of their best ever. Clean herbal nose, with some fresh cut grass hoppiness. Crisp and well balanced, with superb drinkability.

Jan 4, 2008 Pours a hazy gold with modest one finger head that dissipates quickly.
Nice hop aroma, well balanced, inviting.
Taste is very well balanced, possibly the best Czech Pilsener I’ve tried. Wish more of this were available. Took a while just to obtain this one sample.
Light, clean mouthfeel; not heavily carbonated.
Great drinkability, could easily consume mass quantities if I could find it.

Sep 13, 2007 Bottle from a small liquor store near North East, MD. Clear bright yellow pour under an initially tall but quickly dissipating rocky white head. Hoppy aroma with wisps of hay and fresh cut grass. Mild citris flavor underlying a crisp, hoppy straightforward pilsner profile. Very carbonated texture and a crisp finish. The best domestic pilsner I’ve tried in a long time.

Sep 11, 2007 light yellow, not much head, to fizzy for me. Less carbonation would have improved this. Otherwise a good pilsner. But when I open the Abita party packs I am disappointed to see this one.

Sep 3, 2007 Pale yellow with small white head. Lively carbonation. Floral aroma with light lemon notes. Nice light sweetness with faint bitterness in the finish. Very drinkable and refreshing.
