Bottle from Super Saver. Pours gold with uniform 2-finger white head that retains itself well. Aroma of grainy malt, lemongrass, hops. Crisp aroma. The taste is crisp and hoppy up front, wth some citrus, primarily lemon grass and pale malts at mid-palate. Smooth finish and nice complexity. This is a winner, folks!

Apr 14, 2008 Pours gold with a white head. Smells of sweet caramel, touches of apples, some dry straw and hay. Tastes of sweet malt, lightly fruity, some peppery splashes and a semi dry finish.

Mar 9, 2008 Pours golden with a mostly receding off-white head. Aroma of floral hops, lightly herbal. Smells close to a noble hop, but there’s a bit of hop fruitiness. Taste is herbal, notes of cookie, bready malt, light hop resins and toasted malt. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. Probably the best beer from Abita.

Feb 27, 2008 The aroma has corn malt, and floral hops. The appearance is hazy gold with a small head. The flavor is like the aroma. The palate is average. Overall it’s so so at best.
