Clear medium yellow in color. Nice juicy melon and pineapple hop nose, grassy... unexpected, really. Crisp and bitter, chewy pine and spicy and juicy hops. Crisp, bitter like an ESB, smells and tastes like some intense dry-hopping was going on. A little fuesal at times as well, but not distracting or offensive. Very good beer all around.

Apr 14, 2008 Pours gold with a white head. Smells of sweet caramel, touches of apples, some dry straw and hay. Tastes of sweet malt, lightly fruity, some peppery splashes and a semi dry finish.

Mar 9, 2008 Pours golden with a mostly receding off-white head. Aroma of floral hops, lightly herbal. Smells close to a noble hop, but there’s a bit of hop fruitiness. Taste is herbal, notes of cookie, bready malt, light hop resins and toasted malt. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. Probably the best beer from Abita.

Feb 27, 2008 The aroma has corn malt, and floral hops. The appearance is hazy gold with a small head. The flavor is like the aroma. The palate is average. Overall it’s so so at best.
