Aug 31, 2008 12oz bottle(7/20/08)-A dark golden body with a small covering for a head. It has an aroma of malt and caramel. Taste of the same with a little dryness on the back end. This medium bodied brew was an OK amber.

Aug 27, 2008 Bottle: This beer has just enough malt taste and backbone to keep you interested. But I did notice a slightly watered down taste. Heavy carbonation and not much caramel flavor. Decent beer and good session beer.

Aug 26, 2008 Amber color with decent head. Malty aroma that carries through onto the tongue. Very sweet/carmally with hops barely showing up for this one.

Jul 27, 2008 Actually got this a a burger joint. It has a smooth taste and goes down easy enough. However, it did not have any knockout capabilty and is therefore rated as average.

Jul 27, 2008 I drank this in a bar on Bourbon Street in New Orleans on July 20th. It was served in a bottle, cold, and tasted a little like Shiner Bock, for those who are familiar with the popular Texas brew. It was descent for a micro brew trying to make it in the macro world. I would’ve rather had an amber ale than this amber lager.

Jul 19, 2008 Taste 7/8 Bottle (date not marked). Looks: Nice amber with a good head. Aroma: Strong grain and straw aroma. Whiff of sweetness. Taste: Medium bodied. Straw, gain, a small initial bite. Then evens into malt/grain. Finishes spicy. Finish could be a little more smooth. Occasional.
