It has an aroma of malt and caramel. Taste of the same with a little dryness on the back end. This medium bodied brew was an OK amber. soyorganic (217), Denver, Colorado, USA

But I did notice a slightly watered down taste. Heavy carbonation and not much caramel flavor. Decent beer and good session beer. BiddleBrau (329), Midland Park, New Jersey, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 26, 2008 Amber color with decent head. Malty aroma that carries through onto the tongue. Very sweet/carmally with hops barely showing up for this one. Pershing (147), Garland, Texas, USA

However, it did not have any knockout capabilty and is therefore rated as average. It was served in a bottle, cold, and tasted a little like Shiner Bock, for those who are familiar with the popular Texas brew. It was descent for a micro brew trying to make it in the macro world. I would’ve rather had an amber ale than this amber lager. zappafan99 (462), South Carolina, USA

Aroma: Strong grain and straw aroma. Whiff of sweetness. Taste: Medium bodied. Straw, gain, a small initial bite. Then evens into malt/grain. Finishes spicy. Finish could be a little more smooth. Occasional. davidCC (130), New York, USA
