Very nice amber color at the pour. I enjoy the generous look the bubbles give...nice white head that is of decent proportion..although it disappears fast. The aroma is subtle malty...taste is a hint of malty and a twinge bitter....nothing offensive in this brew. The beer is very drinkable and I rather enjoy it

Bottle. I was somewhat disappointed in this one too. I like lagers but, this is far from exceptional. OK caramel taste and a decent head but, again nothing exceptional

Light amber color, very clear. Pleasant taste, very smooth, light malt and mildly sweet.

Pours a very dark reddish gold or a light amber color. Lighter than most ambers I have seen, so maybe it’s a regional thing. The aroma was pretty plain...nothing offensive, but not too exciting. The flavor was in fact pretty exciting. Very smooth and creamy in mouthfeel, I tasted vanilla ice cream with hot caramel drizzled over the vanilla cream. Not too sweet, but rather pretty nicely balanced with some hoppy kick in the background. Definitely one of the best ambers I’ve had so far.

On tap Acme Oyster House. Darker than most ambers I’ve seen. Pleasant taste. A hint of coffee flavor. Drank it the rest of the weekend because it was everywhere in the French Quarter and I liked the taste.

Very light aroma of malt. The flavor is also very light malt with the slightest bitter hops finish. Watery mouthfeel. Average beer, would choose over a bud any day.

I’m not really a Lager man, but this ain’t half bad...I personally won’t buy it, but I’ll drink it if it’s put in my hand after a round of Golf...
