Jan 29, 2007 Bottle from Total Wine. Poured an amber color with a light white head. Taste was a bit bitter and I thought the hops and malts didn’t match up very well. Maybe my bottle was skunked.

Jan 27, 2007 Served on draft in a plastic cup on Rue Bourbon. Nice. Dark-ish amber body with little head. Aroma is bready and sweet. Flavor is smooth and mild, with a bit of spicy hops rounded out with lots of doughy maltiness. Palate is smooth with less than average carbonation. Pretty decent beer.

Jan 23, 2007 Pours a brilliantly clear amber with a froathy white head. Some caramel and toasted malt aroma with a punch of noble type hop aroma. Flavor is nice. Not special. Not offensive. A nice drinking beer. A touch more on the toasted side than caramel, but neither are really all that upfront. Thin palate. Better than swill, but not great.
