| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Jan 23, 2007 Pours a brilliantly clear amber with a froathy white head. Some caramel and toasted malt aroma with a punch of noble type hop aroma. Flavor is nice. Not special. Not offensive. A nice drinking beer. A touch more on the toasted side than caramel, but neither are really all that upfront. Thin palate. Better than swill, but not great. mcclenw (36), Stevenson, Alabama, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Jan 23, 2007 Attractive amber color. Not much of a head or lacing (bottle). Just a regular Amber beer, nothing great or not so great about this brew. dirtyc (173), Erie, Pennsylvania, USA

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jan 16, 2007 Sorta boring. Not much flavor beyond a little maltiness. Quite a let-down at 12.50 for a six pack. jpm30 (1588), East Central, Georgia, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 7, 2007 From a stubby twist off 12 oz. bottle with a blurb and notched freshness date on the back label.
Poured a orangey amber with a small fluffy, foamy head, a minimal amount of laced ringed sticking.
Aromas of toasted grains and caramel malts, a bit leafy herbal too.
Good carbonation and a crisp, smooth medium bodied mouthfeel.
Tastes of toasted grains, bready, touches of sweet caramel, a soft bitterness from spicy, herbal hops and dry toasted, husky grainy finish with a little caramel lingering in the palate.
Easy drinkability, quaffable, another nice lager from Abita.
