Dectect corn malt for the aroma in this one. Amber body not much of a head and flat. Flavor was somewhat malty but also watered down. Easy to drink but swill beer is cheaper.

Really overwhelmingly smokey flavor. I will say that this is one of the more flavorful domestic lagers I’ve had in a while. Doesn’t really hold a candle to some of the other Abita beers though.

Copper orange with a modest layer of beige head. Cold sweat maltiness, light bready yeast. Underwhelming. Pleasant grainy character, mixed in with kind of a mildly sweet dill hoppiness. Not a standout, but nice in its own way.

on draught. This is a translucent amber-colored lager. There’s a predictable malty smell. The initial flavor is sweet and malty and transitions nicely to a fine hoppy finish. But, why is this so watery?

Pours a clear amber-copper color that is topped by a frothy, almost creamy, light tan colored head. The aroma is fairly bland with hints of crystal malt, and perhaps just a wisp of spicy hoppiness. The taste is soft and smooth, quite light and it has an up front light caramelized sweetness. The finish is lightly spicy and a bit bitter with a balancing hoppiness. This is really a rather bland Amber Ale, not really much to say.

12 oz bottle from sampler pack. Pretty average. Tastes OK, but really could use more flavor.

Amber colored beer with an off white head. Mellow aroma, light caramel, even lighter hops. Flavor starts out caramelly and turns quite grainy. Palate is light and not well-rounded. Decent at best.
