Hmm looks like a belgian golden obviously without the yeast aroma. Light and kin. Of boring. Drinkable but nothing special.

Bottle sampled at SF International Beer Fest. Pretty unmemorable overall but not bad. Clear golden color with a white head. Aroma is malt and grains. Flavor is pale malt, caramel malt, honey, and slight fruity notes. Finishes dry with alcohol noticeable.

Easily the best thing I have ever had from Abita, but that is not saying a whole lot. As others have said, sticky is definitely a word to use for this one. Slightly hot with the alcohol.

22oz bomber from DeVino’s in Columbia Heights, Washington DC. Pours a transparent, straw yellow with a frothy, active, white head. Pleasant aroma, sweet, slightly grainy, some sticky fruits (pear), slight apple, slight booze. Flavor is sweet and malty, sweet-sticky fruits, apples, pears, just a touch of hop bitterness. Sticky, full bodied finish. Sessionable, even at 8%, but unremarkable.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. The look is clear, golden in color, and has not too much of its white head. The smell is yeasty, malts, sweet, and caramel. The taste is sweet, malts, sticky, and slightly off grainyness.

Had this on tap at Bourbon Street in restaurant row nyc. Served in pint glass. Didnt notice this was a doppleboch or alcohol content. Just tasted like a crummy helles with lots of corn and hay. Not a fan.

16 ounce pint - $5.50 at Taco Mac in Kennesaw, Georgia. Appearance: Arrived at Table 43 a shimmering, golden-amber body topped with a fizzy, white foam. Lovely, glass-coating lace on the way down. If nothing else, at least it looks nice. Smell: Vaguely sweet-smelling, grainy malt aroma paired with fruity notes and some spicy, even lightly herbal Noble hop scents. Taste: Light pils maltiness initially, lightly sweet and with a minor hint of grain. Fruit flavors follow of yellow apples and white grapeskins. Spicy hop character delivers a medium amount of balancing bitterness. Touch of wildflower honey in the latter half of the taste, along with a few more discarded grapeskins. Finishes fairly drying with a coy, knowing wink from the alcohol. Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium-high carbonation is greatly appreciated, as I’d wager this would otherwise be a syrupy, cloying mess otherwise. Drinkability: Sorry, but I just didn’t find this one to be a pleasure to drink nor is it agreeable in large quantities -- the completion of the sixteen ounces dragged on into the second shift at Taco Mac.

Bottle from Roundballref... light golden color with with a touch of cloudiness. Nice solid head. Slightly sweet flavor with hints of fruit and some bread. Very easy to drink, and was not aware of the 8% ABV. No outstanding flavor characteristics, but enjoyable and smooth.
