Tastes firm, but slightly light on mouthfeel, with a malty, fruity, slightly hoppy finish. MilkmanDan (1940), Eagan, Minnesota, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jul 2, 2004 Quite pale, a light, clear copper-gold. Nose a bit off, some malts, but something unpleasant lurks. Flavor is somewhat bland, a bit sweet with some caramel. Kind of boring. grat (433), ST. Louis, Missouri, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Jun 28, 2004 Hmmm... I don’t know what to thiunk about this one. I was expecting something darker. This brew, however, poured a really pale color...perhaps like a pale bock??? I don’t know. Regardless not bad but not really much to write home about...especially from a micro. Golden color nice white head that dies easily. Nose of lager yeast and slight malt character. Great palate for a beer of this color. Excellently round on the tongue. Notes of water, malt, yeast and hops...hmmm thats about it. Pass it by.

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 15, 2004 Gotta top off the evening with a bock.Nice amber color, small off white ehad that faded quickly and left little behind. The aroma was Malty with a mild fruity presence maybe some spice but hard to say it could just be a bit peppery.Mild hops and little more.Malty taste with a slight hint of alcohol and fruit and the hops managed to get away without much of a showing. The spicy side did show but only mildly. Not bad but definatley could use some more work. thedm (3834), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | May 27, 2004 This bottled marked best before 6/17 did not state what year it was bottled int? This brew poured a large sized head of fine to large sized off-white colored mostly lasting bubbles that left behind a poor lacing. The body was a carbonated transparent orange brown color. The aroma was malty and not bock like. The mouth feel had a medium tingle that smoothened in the finish. Its sweet and malty flavor went down easily.
