Some nice flowery pale malts in the aroma. Mild German (Hallertau?) hops. A couple citrusy notes but not sure if it’s the hops.
Really nice combo of the dry, flaky pale malts and sweetish puckery citrus. Actually a fine combo; the hops add a sweetness and a tart finish.
The feel is creamy and a tad bubbly. Thicker than expected, but certainly not a choker. It’s a substantial drink with lots of summery, tree-fruit notes. Very very nice. Crash (449), Macomb, Illinois, USA

Didn’t smell, look, or taste like one so I don’t know what they were thinking. Poured golden with next to no head. Aroma was one of those strange things you don’t want to smell before drinking. Tasted a lot like a almost pale ale. Fish (439), Kure, Japan
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 13, 2005 pours a nice cloudy orange color with a bubbly white head. Faintest aroma of fruit. Flavor is of some spice and fruit. Very mild hops. Medium body. Haven’t ever had any Bocks that have piqued my interest. This one is nothing different. grat (433), ST. Louis, Missouri, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Jun 28, 2004 Hmmm... I don’t know what to thiunk about this one. I was expecting something darker. This brew, however, poured a really pale color...perhaps like a pale bock??? I don’t know. Regardless not bad but not really much to write home about...especially from a micro. Golden color nice white head that dies easily. Nose of lager yeast and slight malt character. Great palate for a beer of this color. Excellently round on the tongue. Notes of water, malt, yeast and hops...hmmm thats about it. Pass it by.

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Feb 6, 2009 Pours a medium brown with an aroma of malts, caramel and sour fruit. Taste was malty with a bitter finish. Nothing spectacular but it washed down some pretty spicy cajun food so it had an upside. Crafty07 (393), Florence, Kentucky, USA

No head to speak of with a golden color and obvious carbonation as the bubbles rise quickly. Malty, sweet and biting in flavor. Actually tastes nice! Nice balance of hops and malt. Really great poundcake like flavor with nice medium to full body, although the beer is not heavy. Pretty well done beer. Drinkingdan (371), East Norriton, Pennsylvania, USA
