Golden brown bread crust and caramel colored body with a nose that resembles honey, sweet brown sugar and sweet grains. Flavor centers around honey, biscuits and sugar, with a faint bite of astringency, due to hops I’m not exactly sure. A simple beer, far from what I would consider the defintiion of bock. Sweet malt aroma with a hint of grassiness. It seems to be a bit watery in the mouth. The sweet maltiness is pretty subdued for a bock. Very clean finish.

Deep sweet malt, near treacle, hint of floral/minty hops. Initial bit of corn, but after that has diminished, light sweet malt balanced with a faint hops kiss. A mild maibock, but very drinkable. Head is initially small, off-white, mostly diminishing.
Body is clear light amber.
Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (grain, husks), with notes of DMS and chemicals.
Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately bitter, husky, unclean.
Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation.
Extremely poor. Blindly I would call this an American Dark, not a bock. It’s just swill lager with some color in its cheeks. Undrinkable. bhensonb (4376), Woodland, California, USA

Pours a light orange gold color with a moderate white head. Aromas of noble hop and caramel. Medium body with sharpish carbonation. Flavor is caramel with nobel hop, kind of like an amber pilsner. Ends mildly sweet with supporting bitter. Not bad.
