I have great reservations as I’ve had good and bad samples. A beer can be infectious or infected. Beware of he latter. hopscotch (5529), Vero Beach, Florida, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 19, 2003 Crystal clear, deep yellow lager. Small, off-white, fizzy head.
Honey, cinnamon, yeast and banana in the aroma. Some peach as well.
The flavor is very sweet and malty up front with notes of honey and corn. Astringent, lightly bitter and sweet (too sweet) on the backside.
No real attempt at balance.
Medium-bodied with an oily mouthfeel and fizzy carbonation.
Lengthy, astringent, bittersweet finish with grapefruit peel and honey at the wee end. The cloying sweetness eventually gets to me as the beer warms. FlacoAlto (2482), Tucson, Arizona, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 23, 2005 A light amber-tan colored head sits atop this brilliantly clear copper colored beer. The aroma is subdued with notes of sweet malt, a hint of sweet orange peel, and a bit of alcohol; not really much there though. The taste is lightly sweet up front with a body that seems both thin and slightly full at the same time. The predominant taste is of sweet malt with a bit of caramalization to it; overall, like in the aroma, this beer is pretty bland. Certainly there is not anything wrong with this beer just a bit uninspiring. jon112981 (327), Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA

A malty taste with almost no presence of hops. A bit of alcohol in this one but quite tasty. KAggie97 (2476), Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas, USA

Interesting, but only as interesting as Pauly Shore was. marcus (1896), Sacramento, California, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jun 23, 2009 This copper ale poured with a fluffy off-whtie head and a toffee aroma. There is a reasonably good caramel malt base and enough hopping to provide a balance of bitterness. It’s pretty ho-hum, but drinkable. SudsMcDuff (1703), was CapeTown,SA-now Houston, Texas, USA
