Bottle. Poured a small white creamy and smooth head with fine sized bubbles that quickly dissipated. Fast-rising carbonation, transparent and a gold hue. The aroma was malty, sweet, and clove. The flavor was sweet, malty and very watery. The mouthfeel was smooth, watery and thin. This was a light bodied beer with sparse lacing. Nothing outstanding here.

I’ve traded this beer away about six times and never got around to trying it...pour golden with a thin khaki head...smell is sweet with lemons and a little grainy...taste is sweet with a strange wheat thing going on toward the finish...a little bitter toward the finish...not great at all...

Light golden color. A little white head. Malty aroma, some spice maybe, but not that impressive. Flavor was thing, some malt, but that's about it. Nothing to write home about. Bought this 12 oz bottle at Beers of the World in Rochester, NY.

Bottle. Nose is metallic and almost like a bloody steak. No head to speak of with a golden color and obvious carbonation as the bubbles rise quickly. Malty, sweet and biting in flavor. Actually tastes nice! Nice balance of hops and malt. Really great poundcake like flavor with nice medium to full body, although the beer is not heavy. Pretty well done beer.

Bottle from Jungle Jim’s. Poured dark amber with an average frothy off-white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate malty tart fruit aroma. Medium body. Moderate sweet tart flavor with a small bitter finish of average duration.

From a twist cap stubby brown bottle with a notched best before date along the left side of back label. Poured a hazy copper hued orange with a foamy off-white head that settled into a thin lacing. Aromas of faint grape fruity esters and bready malts. Moderate carbonation and a softly crisp, smooth medium bodied mouthfeel. Very malty tasting, toasted caramel and bready malts with a touch of sugariness, fruity esters, a light, soft spicy hop bitterness, a slight warming alcohol presence towards the end and a dryish sweet malty finish, a nice smooth drinkability. A decent bock, mildly tasty and quite quaffable.

Pours clear copper with a short, fizzy white head and minimal lacing. The aroma is floral, soapy and slightly boozy. A bit metallic as well. The flavor follows with the overall taste being floral and metallic with some booze on the finish. Thin mouthfeel.
