Thick head on the pour that quickly dissipated. The smell is weak with a faint toffee smell. The flavor isn’t bad, but nothing exceptional. A sweet malt flavor up front with faint hop bite at the end. Not a bad bock, just nothing outstanding about it. angrypirate06 (733), Texas, USA

Pours a generally clear copper color with a white foamy head that settles slowly and laces the glass. Aroma is sweet and malty with notes of grass, hay, yeast, sour overripe fruit, some hints of honey and hay. Flavor is sweet and somewhat malty with notes of grain, yeast, bread, some fruit and nut flavors. Generally light body with sour and unpleasant finish. n0kwa (34), Talisheek, Louisiana, USA

Pours a clear light amber brew with a thin and fast dissolving off-white head that dissipates to a fine white ring and no lacing. Aroma of light caramel malt and some grassy hops. Taste is light to medium bodied, well-carbonated with some caramel malt and citrus zest. Finish is watery, with a semi-sweet caramel malt aftertaste. One of the lightest bock beers I have tried. Pours clear dark gold with a dense 2 finger off-white head that faded fast but still left spotty lacing. The nose is light caramel malt and grassy hops. Taste is pretty much the same with some nutty flavor mixed in. Lighter mouthfeel. Just like most Abita brews – uninteresting. brewski519 (408), Morrisville, North Carolina, USA

Taste was malty with a bitter finish. Nothing spectacular but it washed down some pretty spicy cajun food so it had an upside. curly (598), Nashville, Tennessee, USA

Caramel and sweet fruit such as peach, plum and apple is the aroma along with some roast malt. Taste is toasty, malty and pretty sweet but not sticky. The body is pretty good, but overall it’s decent.
