Aroma of caramel and toffee, deep amber with a decent head. Moderately carbonated, yet deep malt backbone. I don’t see the strong hop character Abita claims, but it is good. I always lean a little right on Oktoberfests. Not a must have, but it ain’t bad.

The look is a hazy light copper color. Decent white and foamy head. Light bubby carbonation. Sturdy and pretty nice-looking. Has a rich bittersweet toasted malt aroma with fresh (English?) hops wafting above. Light caramel and hints of liquid yeast. The taste is rich toffee and molasses notes over a roasted (not burnt) malt. The hops are a bittering accent which is mild and serves to balance all that sweetness. Hint of pale malt as well. It feels creamy and thick. Remains on the tongue for sometimes after. Quite substantial. It’s a sweet (caramel/molasses) thick beer with mild and bitter hops. More like a roasted pale than a fall beer, but quite good. A fine Oktoberfest.

Great color but thats abotu all it has going for it. Distiguished malt and hops after taste. It’s nothing special.

Bottle. Aroma of spice and rather bland. Dark golden body with white head. The spicey bitterness was just to much as allother flavor of beer was not found till last gulp. Rather bland experience.

Pours a pale amber body with a lasting ring of off-white head. Aromas of corn and malt sweetness. Sweet malt, floral, butter, slight herbal flavor. Not very dry.

(12oz bottle) Small off-white head atop lightly hazed amber body. Aroma is medium sweet, caramel/bread, some chocolate tropical fruit, light earthy/spicy. Taste is medium sweet, caramel/chocolate/bread, some orange/lime, light spicy/earthy. Undercarbonated light-medium body, lightly sticky.

Fall Fest pours a light golden brown, with a medium white head. The aroma is of sweet malt, with a bit of citrus coming through. The body is light and so is the finish. This is a refreshing beer that would seem to be more suitable for summer. I dig it.
