This beer is an Oktoberfest? Pretty bland. Yellow pour with a whitish head. Slim malt aroma. Light taste, nothing special. An average beer.

A little on the light side, has some maltyness though not enough. I am convinced that given the clean water used at Abita that a German Pilsner would be their best beer.

Nice amber color with a hint of orange (color not flavor). Tastes great. All of the Abita's that I've had have been clean, crisp and refreshing - must be the spring water. Good stuff!

Copper colour with orange highlights and absolutely no head. Aroma of sugar, metal, malt and a very small amount of spices. Light to Medium-bodied; Watery taste with not much flavour. A bit of astringency towards the front end followed by faint malt and a low amount of spices near the end. Aftertaste is bland and uneventful. Overall, this one is...as everyone points out, simply not worth trying. A failure even for this style. I bought this twelve ounce bottle at Beers of the World in Rochester, New York.

I expected more from Abita - usually a reliable micro. No head to the pour - looks like weak, watered down iced tea. Has a bit of a funky metallic, rotten vegetable aroma to it and the metallic character carries over to the flavor and the palate. Searching - but cannot find anything positive to say about this one.

Absolutely no head. Orange in color. Flavorwise, it sort of reminds me of Dos Equis Amber. This beer is more or less dominated by a stale metallic flavor. No redeeming virtue.

Although a lager, the hazy off-gold color and fruity aroma make it appear at first glance to be an ale. Good balance between malt and hops, clean finish, but an unremarkable beer.

Golden-yellow color with a small white head, musty grainy corn aroma. Stale light malt flavor, some hops noticable in the finish along with some sourness, light bodied and watery, not even worth a try.
