Dark golden color with a touch of haze. Small dense off white head. Mild toasted malt aroma. Thinner creamy feel. Light toasty malt flavors with a mild floral/herbal hops finish. Mild malt linger. Really not much of a marzen, but a drinkable light amber lager.

This bottled brew poured a large sized head of fine to medium sized mostly lasting white colored bubbles that left behind a fair lacing. The body was transparent softly carbonated and orange brown colored. The aroma was mold with malty bitter and fruity notes. The mouth feel was smooth malty and a mildly bitter biting finish. The flavors contained notes of malt hops caramel dough and other bitter notes.

Bottle. Medium sized white head and fine-small sized bubbles that mostly diminished. Fast-rising carbonation, transparent and a golden hue. Malty, hoppy, sweet and spicy aroma. Spicy, watery, malty, and an astringent taste. Smooth mouthfeel but thin. Light-medium bodied beer with sparse lacing.

Golden orange... slighty hazy. Small head. Plain, ordinary beer aroma. A bit hoppy, but also a bit boring. Aberage beer at best.

(anyone check the pic here? Amarcord? Fellini this beer is NOT) This is OKAY, and not much better. If you happen upon one I hope it’s either fresh or that Abita has improved their filtration.

Dark straw colored, much lighter than other Marzens I've had. Smells lagery. Tastes slightly hoppy, slightly malty, a little watery. Finishes smooth.

slightly mirky light orange color. White head. Malty wheaty aroma. More full bodied than expected. Somewhat rich malty, caramel flavor that finishes slightly hoppy. Although not the most full bodied oktoberfest I have tried, better than expected. Nothing is "off" in this beer and nothing is terribly "on."

This beer is an Oktoberfest? Pretty bland. Yellow pour with a whitish head. Slim malt aroma. Light taste, nothing special. An average beer.
