Nov 2, 2009 Bottle: Poured a golden amber with a white head. The aroma was light hops and citrus. The flavor was light hops, light fruit and a light flavor. Overall, an easy drinker.

Pours a clear golden brown color body, with a small frothy white head. Somewhat musty aroma, some fruitiness, heavy grape. Grapy taste, some mustiness, some maltiness. Good taste. Somewhat dusty taste. Almost like a roasted taste.

Oct 23, 2009 Poured a clear yellow/amber with a large white head. Aroma of lemon and hops. Taste is slightly sweet with some hops. The malts are interesting along with the bread flavor. Finish is smooth and crisp. An interesting combination of sweet and bitter.

Oct 8, 2009 12oz bottle from Orland Park Binny’s single rack. Pours clear golden orange with white head. Aroma is hops, citrus and pale malts. Flavor is english malts, caramel, faint hops and sort of a sweet bready flavor. Smells better than it tastes. Rather weak pale ale.

Sep 25, 2009 light clear gold, fluffy white head, slightly lacy. nose of sweet malt with undertones of hops. flavor is sweet malt with a mildy bitter hop presence in the background. medium bodied, sweet finish. rather weak offering from abita. i was pretty disinterested while i drank this. single bottle from binny’s orland park.

Sep 21, 2009 I thought this was a cross between the American Pale and the English. I was happy with it at my tailgate but would look to others in the future.

Sep 20, 2009 (bottle - 12 oz) Lightly hazy orange pour with a thick tan head. Aroma is light and biscuity with some light hints of hops and some sweet malts. Flavor is dry and grassy at the beginning with a very mild and sweet middle. Crisp and lightly bitter on the finish.
