Commercial Description:
Fleur-de-lis Restoration Ale is made with English Pale, Lager, Crystal and Cara Pils malted barley. We liberally hopped and dry hopped our Ale with American Cascade and Centennial hops and fermented it with California Ale yeast. The result is a brilliant gold ale with a rich body, mild bitterness and a snappy fresh citrus hop flavor and aroma.

Clear dark gold with a fleeting head. Nice but mild aroma of floral hops and pale cracker malts. Smooth medium body. Mild flavor of pale malts is lightly sweet. Has a mildly bitter hop bite to finish. No off flavors. Typical mild but drinkable Abita brew.

Nice to see the Abita brews in Wisc! This beer pours a dark golden colour with a medium sized white head. initial taste is a little grainy with tapers off into a honey like taste with nice fruit flavor.

From bottle at Snug Harbor restaurant on Frenchmen St, NOLA. Light hoppy nose, bit grassy. Bit of honey and butter. Not much else going on in this nose. Light golden amber clear with thin light head. Medium-light watery body with medium carbonation. Starts dry with pilsner malt, light bitter hops - somewhat crisp. Fairly acidic bite with mild bitter lemon rind finish. Light corn taste, too. OK pale ale, but dont’ care to try again.

Not much of a fan of this one; there is very little to react to within this bottle. Appearance was very pale and clear, and looked more Bud Light than it did pale ale. There was no aroma at all. Flavor was also very faint; what there was reminded me a "honey lager" like Tyranena Three Blonde’s or Sleeman’s Honey Blonde, and these are not favorable comparisons. Some faint sweetness but no malt or hop character. Mouthfeel was unremarkable. I would not recommend this beer. I had a bottle of this at the New Orleans d.b.a.

Bottle. Felt more like an APA to me. Decent hop bitterness. Color is a little light. Citrus presence. Nothing really exciting but overall a nice session beer.

awesome bottle, logo featuring the skyline of New Orleans with the Fluer-de-Lis superimposed over them. I really like what Abita has done in donating money to the Katrina relief fund. The beer has a lovely hops taste, a very good ale. I would put it into the IPA category almost. I liked it a lot and would buy again

Bottle. Pours a clear golden color with a small white head. The aroma is hoppy with citrus. The taste is very bitter with citrus and pine and a smooth finish. Easy to drink a good pale ale from Abita.
