Simple and to the point, grainey cereal malt taste, with some refreshing citrus, and grassy hoppiness with a consistent honey flavor throughout the finish. jpm30 (1588), East Central, Georgia, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jan 18, 2008 Stubby 12 oz. twist-off bottle, blurb and notched freshness date on the back label, sampled in a pint glass.
L: Hazy orange hued light golden with a frothy white head that leaves a good deal of ringed laced sticking along the sides of the glass.
S: Dash of lemon juice and orange pith surrounded by caramel grainy malts. Touches of sweet bread framing the edges. Simple, but effective nose.
F&T: Steady stream of micro bubbly carbonation gives the moderate body a softly firm feel, mildly crisp and dry. Lemon juice and sweet tangerines tasting hops that finish with a nice drying spicy bitterness. Subtle apricot in the middle. Honey grains and dry biscuits with touches of malt sugariness, the pale malts provide a nice backbone to the taste.
This is pretty much like I expect a good American Blonde Ale to be, nothing over the top while remaining clean and refreshing.

| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jan 11, 2008 What a strange name. Note to self: ’Need to find out more about this name.’ Pop the lid and rotten lemony aroma. Appearance of slightly hazy pale yellow American lager. Easy to drink, tho it does posses a few of the attributes of an ale. Rather friendly and pale lager like. Enjoyable with a touch of wet straw. jehoey (766), Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, USA

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Dec 28, 2007 Bottle sample at a tasting. Hazy golden color with a white head. Aroma of floral hops, a bit of malt and a bit of citrus. Flavor of sweet malt, a bit fruity, with a mild and quite weak dry finish with hops and a bit of citrus. Body is too light. Rather boring. | 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Dec 17, 2007 A poor effort from Abita. Too bitter and with a bad, malty aftertaste. It’s also a bit too watered down. JamesCrosson (36), Fair Lawn, New Jersey, USA
