Initial delicious aroma of citrus and honey fades quickly to slight honey, dry grain, and grassy herb. Flavor is cereal grain, honey, slight waxy orange, and occasional sweet corn. Palate is light-medium and dryish. DuffMan (2769), the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, Canada
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 19, 2007 Clear golden amber, moderate white head. Soft floral and fruity hop aroma, perhaps lychee. Perfectly balanced clean malts and mild aromatic hops-- nice for its simple drinkability. I actually thought this was an american pale ale rather than a golden/blond. vyvvy (2068), Hazelwood, Missouri, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 27, 2007 Pours golden orange with a pillowy white head. The aroma has grapefruit hops, toasted malt and other citrus. Medium smooth body with fairly soft carbonation. The flavor starts off with some lightly toasted underwhelming malt, spicy hops and some soapiness. The finish offers a bit of citrus hops, but those aspects are lost under the rest. Not bad for what it is, but nothing that stands out. HogTownHarry (4025), Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, Canada
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Oct 26, 2007 Bottle (12oz). Clear bright gold pour, smallish frothy-fizzy white head. There’s a hint of lemon zest in there, and some dry spicy yeast, as well as generic grain 6-). The taste is pretty blah - fizzy, very watery, somewhat stale, no hops I can detect, just a hint of paper at the end. Ehh. fattibobatti (246), Tallahassee, Florida, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 2, 2007 Bottle. The rating is a lot lower than I expected. This beer was pretty solid in my opinion. Dark pour with a decent sized head to it. Aroma is pretty hoppy. Flavor is malty and has a nice balance with citrus hops. The finish is smooth and I’d have to say this is quite drinkable.
