Commercial Description:
Fleur-de-lis Restoration Ale is made with English Pale, Lager, Crystal and Cara Pils malted barley. We liberally hopped and dry hopped our Ale with American Cascade and Centennial hops and fermented it with California Ale yeast. The result is a brilliant gold ale with a rich body, mild bitterness and a snappy fresh citrus hop flavor and aroma.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark amber color with a large orange-white head. The aroma was sweet fruity hops. The flavor was sweetish with a moderate yet somehow subdued fruity hop presence. The body was fairly light. A nice session ale but nothing more.

Bottle. This one is decidely average. Not much to say about it. It pours with a pale golden color, displays some hoppy aroams together with malts and some citrus. The citrus is also most dominant in the flavor department and the body is fairly watery. All right but not memorable.

Bottle. Mild, faint aroma of citrus and yeast. A touch cloudy, golden color with a decent white head. Nothing bad in this yeasty/hoppy flavor, touch of fruit, muted hops, and a few grains. Not a deep flavor, more designed to be smooth and refreshing than overly interesting or memorable. Not an unique brew, but a solid session beer that’d be good on a hot day.

Bottle, slightly cloudy appearance, with a thin head, thin watery taste. Hmm this beer was to help restore the Gulf Coast, maybe they should get some help restoring this beer. Not very good not horrific but honestly nothing special at all.

This beer was just sort of there. Very uninspiring. Small hops, little bit of citrus, golden ale with not much taste. Refreshing, maybe good with a meal, but nothing great.

Nice aroma. Very light and refreshing. Extra credit for the worthy cause helping New Orleans recover.

Poured beautiful golden amber hue....from bottle. Great white head and carbonation. Wonderful lacing. Aroma is sage and sandlewood. Very soapy on the finish. This would be nicer if it was dry hopped. Lost alot respect for this beer as soon as i twisted of the cap. WTF?
