Bottle at the Abita Brew pub. I liked it. Hoppy, fruity flavor. Not a lot of head. Good stuff.

12oz bottle. Clear golden color with a thin off-white head. Malty aroma with a little bit of dough and some spice. Mildly sweet up front, then some hops kick in to balance it out. refreshing and enjoyable.

..finally found this beer, drank in Nawlins!! pours with a big-ish head, dissipates quickly...leaves some lacing...Nice smelling beer-like a mild ipa....Great taste!...good amount of hops..smooth and jazzy, just like NO....better than most abita’s...class in a bottle, I Love New Orleans!!....this place really is the Big Easy!

Bottle. Average white frothy head (mostly dissapating). Clear golden body. Aromas of light fruit and some flowery hops. Also some malts noticed. Flavor is intially sweet and finishes sweeter. Medium bodied. Dry textured. Soft carbonation. Not sure why I liked it so much but I do. Apparantly I liked this beer way better than most.

6 pack from Total Wine, since they had not busted it up into singles. Pours a nice pale gold, with an aroma of hops and a bit of fruit. Taste is surprisingly good once you get past the initial tasting. I was surprised by this one, it’s pretty good.

Pale golden beer, quite hazy with a thin white head. Aroma is quite wheaty, light orange peel with some light berryish fruitiness in back. There is also some sweet nuttiness that is a bit surprising is such a pale beer. Flavour is a bit butterscotchy which is probably where the nutty aroma is coming from. Watery palate and moderate bitterness iwth a lingering orange peel/diacetyl flavour. It’s a pretty boring brew.

Pale, brassy-copper body is topped by a rapidly fizzling white head that leaves little/no lacing. Bubbly liquid is highly clear.
Highly perfumed nose definitely showcases the dry-hopping. I really like the hop notes that come through. No heavy pine or citrus, or anything acidic. Just a happy, dry, lemon and flower petal-like nose with well-attenuated, light pale malts in the background adding a pinch of pleasing graininess and very light honey. I get a little mineral water-like note, on the finish as well, but I seem to always get this from Abita beers. Medium strength overall, very delicate.
Dry hop flavors dominate the flavor, adding a gentle bitterness and lots of herbal-perfuminess with just a hint of light grapefruit. Lemon icing-like malts sit in the back, with a touch of graininess and a very light body, with little sweetness. Carbonation is moderate, no alcohol noted. Good beer, more hop character than a typical golden ale, but without the maltiness of a pale ale. Obviously, the filtering/force carbonating aspect of Abita beers is a big downer, but for what it is, it’s a very drinkable, flavorful/aromatic beer.

This has been sitting in the bottom of my fridge waiting patiently on me for several months. Out of sight, out of mind as they say. Faint nose of flowers, caramel, malt & nuts. Pours a sparkling golden. Mostly lasting fluffy & wispy white head. Sweet flavor with a noticable citrus tartness and decent acidity. Complex finish that ends on a nutty note. Light soft body that is creamy and feels dry at the finish. Much better than I expected.
