Commercial Description:
Fleur-de-lis Restoration Ale is made with English Pale, Lager, Crystal and Cara Pils malted barley. We liberally hopped and dry hopped our Ale with American Cascade and Centennial hops and fermented it with California Ale yeast. The result is a brilliant gold ale with a rich body, mild bitterness and a snappy fresh citrus hop flavor and aroma.

This was an odd beer, but one that I actually enjoyed. Poured to a golden color with minimal head, and had no distinct aroma or flavor that I could identify. On the other hand, there was nothing I disliked abvout this beer. It is one of the first I’ve rated that was just a good drinking beer, with little distinguishing features...neither good nor bad. This would make a good session beer.

Pleasing lemony hop aroma, lightly soapy, weak bready malts. Off gold with minimal head and carbonation. A spike of hop flavors up front doesn’t do much, quickly rounding into a vague, blandish sweetness. Finish begins as a tingle of carbonation, a light dab of hops and then nothing at all. Overally pretty flavorless.

Pours a clear golden color with a small white head. Very light spotty lacing. Has a grassy hop aroma. Flavor is mild citrus hop but the bitterness really comes through. Light to medium body. Not bad. Worth a try.

Pours a bright gold with a thick off-white head. Very hoppy aroma and flavor with a touch of citrus. Slightly bitter finish. O.K summer drinker.

Cloudy gold, with a thick foamy head that lasts through the glass. The aroma is clearly hops, hops and hops, with a piney citrus aroma. The medium body is dry with a clean finish.

Clear bright gold. Fizzy. Two-finger cream-colored dense head. Very lacy. Grassy and lightly bitter aroma. Taste is light grassy malt with a mild but interesting hop finish. Light, crisp and that’s about it. A non-descript golden ale. However it tastes good and drinks easy. a good summer beer, maybe even a gateway beer for some Bud drinking friends at the summer barbeque.

Pretty boring. The hops are there, but they are very one dimensional. Skip it.
