Feb 28, 2006 pours golden with a decent sized white head that rapidly dissapears, aroma is citrus, malt, musty yeast, not to pleasant. Flavor is better than aroma but not much better, sweet, honey-like, carbonated, slight grassy hops, and perfume flavor, ok body, blah.

Feb 28, 2006 12 oz bottle best by 4/14/06: Slightly hazed golden body w/a short lived white head. Heavily grainy malt aroma w/ a bit of grassy and floral hop. Malt aroma becomes a little less crisp as it warms. Clean otherwise. Some light clover honey aromas as it warms as well. Flavor is grainy malt and lightly grassy hop, clean; finish is semi dry and herbal hop flavored, aftertaste is short lived and herbal hop flavored. Highly carbonated, smooth body, on the prickly side due to carbonation, lighter body just shy of watery. A good summer beer w/ a decent flavor for a lighter style of beer. Nice fresh flavor that would be good for a summer cook while grilling or after the yard work is done!

Feb 27, 2006 (12oz bottle) Crystal clear light amber with small white head that does not persist. Aroma is medium sweet, orange, some spice, light caramel. Taste is medium sweet, some spice, orange/grapefruit, caramel, light butter. Light-medium body, slight creaminess, acidity.

Feb 27, 2006 Pour was amber gold, fizzy head. Hop nose. The taste is citris, real easy to drink. Wonder what the ABV is? Cheers to New Orleans! Rebuild baby.

Feb 26, 2006 Poured a rich golden hue with a modest head and a spicy, citrusy aroma. Light bodied with an almost creamy texture, malty with a slight caramely note, soft hoppiness and a short finish. Tasty, simple but effective.

Feb 25, 2006 Wow, I kind of like this beer. It initially taste like a classic pils, but develops into a rich unnaturally smooth pils with the palate of a good pale ale. Now that I notice it is a blond ale, it makes perfect sense. The aroma is a little sour, but kind of pale ale/pils like, not really what I would consider a golden ale. It is really quite good.

Feb 25, 2006 Pour is a almost cloudy yellow with a white head. Aroma is almost next to nothing. Flavor is quite good! Yeast and hops both make an apperance here and quite strong at that. Flavor puts this one in my maybe catagory. Good flavor but weak otherwise. If i saw this on sale somewhere I would deffinatly buy a case.

Feb 25, 2006 Lightly malty with some fruitiness and corn notes. Clear, golden color with a white head. Flavor is small, lightly malty and lightly hoppy. Simple and balanced. High carbonation kills the medium body and makes it seem like soda or something. Overall, it isn’t bad except for the carbonation. Thanks to eyedrinkale for this.
