Commercial Description:
Fleur-de-lis Restoration Ale is made with English Pale, Lager, Crystal and Cara Pils malted barley. We liberally hopped and dry hopped our Ale with American Cascade and Centennial hops and fermented it with California Ale yeast. The result is a brilliant gold ale with a rich body, mild bitterness and a snappy fresh citrus hop flavor and aroma.

pours golden, white head. Aroma of floral hops, pale malts, light yeasty presence, grainy and caramel. Taste of light malts, light notes of caramel, floral hops with some citrus notes, light biter finish. Still waiting to see anything groundbreaking coming from this brewery.

Bottle. Aroma is weak pine, spruce, and floral hops. Flavor is hops and malts. Balanced fairly well. Decent beer, that poured a yellowish color with a head that was gone rather quick.

Hazy orange with a foamy white head. Piney and a hop spice aroma. Strong citrus hop taste, but the finish is watery with a lingering bitterness.

12 ounce bottle from Wine Warehouse in Charlottesville, VA. Pours a golden amber color with a large head. Good head retention and fair lacing. Aroma of sweet malts and muted hops. Taste is leafy hops and sweet sugary malts. Not much going on here. Medium bodied.

Pretty standard stuff. The appearance was a pale gold color, tinge of red. the aroma was caramel malts, and hops. The flavor was sweet with caramel, with citrus. The finish was a pleasant citrus hop bittering. Ok overall. Decent session beer.

12oz bottle from package store in New Orleans. Pours a generally clear yellow golden color with a one finger puffy white head that settles slowly and laces the glass. Aroma is sweet and floral with notes of citrus, lemon, honey, grain, yeast, some bread. Flavor is also sweet and floral with similar notes of citrus, lemon, grain, yeast, bread, and honey. Generally light to medium body with a crisp lemony hoppy finish.

Flavorless, watery. I hope that the sampler was just a bad batch, but what a huge disappointment from a brewer that I thought was above average. No aroma bud light colored nothingness.
