Commercial Description:
Fleur-de-lis Restoration Ale is made with English Pale, Lager, Crystal and Cara Pils malted barley. We liberally hopped and dry hopped our Ale with American Cascade and Centennial hops and fermented it with California Ale yeast. The result is a brilliant gold ale with a rich body, mild bitterness and a snappy fresh citrus hop flavor and aroma.

Again, nothing to it really. Watered down, not a very pale taste to it at all.

Murky amber, lifeless, but large, white head. The aroma… isn’t very good. Corn stalk, fritos, yuck. Taste is pretty bad too. Some citrus and corn, mild floral hops. Chewy body with an aftertaste that lingers a bit beyond it should. Sort of like stale grapefruit juice.

Short 12oz twistoff bottle. Pours pale golden color. White head with big soapy bubbles. Big hop florals in the nose. Very fragrent. Lots of citrus along with a crisp pale malt nose. Lighter in body than most pale ales. All Abitas seem to be lighter bodied. Unlike most Abitas this one is full flavored. Full malt character. Followed by a nice hop bite. Very tastiful. A pleasant find. Purchased at Total Wine in Orlando.

Pours copper with small offwhite head. Flavor is slightly malty upfront with a fair amount of hops in the finish. Not at all a waste of money.

bottle labeled restoration ale poured a brassy amber color with a thin off white head that fell to a ring in the glass quickly. aroma has caramel malt, sweetness, and light spice. mouth feel is average and there is fairly good carbonation. flavor has a malted body with caramel, spices, and some minerals. finishes withlight bitterness and spices lingering.

Poured from 12 oz bottle a light and clear golden, forming decent white foamy head. Aroma of hops, malts and flowery notes. Flavour is sweet, almost lager like. Dry hops, malts, and straw come through. Decent, and clean beer. Thin mouthfeel, perhaps perfect for hot days and mowing.

I agree with the last rater, tastes more like an APA and I think some of the new bottles even have APA on the label. Pours gold with an orange tint. Fruity aroma, would like a a little more hops in this, but all in all a nice beer.
