Aug 2, 2008 Bottle. Pours orange with an off white head. Sweet aroma with floral hops and caramel. Medium body. Flavor is again sweet with caramel, floral, grass, and a touch of citrus. Not bad.

Jul 29, 2008 Bottle from Frugal McDugal. Pours amber orange with a white head. Aroma of wet grains, floral hops, cara pils, and just a hint of lemon. Light bodied with a watery texture and macro like carbonation. Initial flavor of english pale malts and biscuit, countered by a stale citrus and herbal hoppiness. Short, dry and crisp bitterness. This tastes like a decent pale that was watered down. Way too thin and watery.

Jul 19, 2008 This is like an IPA that is not too overpowering with the hops. I have never seen the Fleur-de-lis label I think this should be categorized just as restoration ale.

Jul 10, 2008 The beer I drank certainly didn’t say Fleru-de-lis on it and it had a totally different label. Pretty average beer, the label also said Pale Ale, not Blond Ale

Jul 3, 2008 12 oz bottle. Medium to light amber pour with a decent small head and some lace. Aroma is biscuity, pale malts, nice fresh baked bread, toast, and some nice floral hops- seemed fresh. Pale malts balanced with a nice herbal and flowery hops- clean and crisp finish and a light hop bitterness. nothing crazy, but just a solid pale ale.

Jun 18, 2008 12 oz bottle...pours amber w/ a small white head, that fade quickly. Aromas of citrus, malts, caramel, florals. The flavor was light flavored citrusy hops, and a touch of caramel malts. The beer is really light w/o being watery...It is very sessionable as the dry, floral finish begs for continued sipping. Great session beer from Abita!

Jun 12, 2008 Bottle, thanks Deepsouth!! Pours a slightly cloudy yellow color with a medium white head. Aroma is of malts,hops and something funky. Flavor is a tad better than the aroma. Malty and hops are present...no complexity but as with most Abita beers I find it prett smooth.

Jun 5, 2008 12 oz bottle, labeled as Abita Restoration Pale Ale. Lightly hazed gold with an off white head. Caramel and wood nose, lightly floral, mild sweet orange. Light caramel and orange, some mild bread and butter. Finish transitions quickly to a dry floral tone. Not a winner.
