Commercial Description:
Fleur-de-lis Restoration Ale is made with English Pale, Lager, Crystal and Cara Pils malted barley. We liberally hopped and dry hopped our Ale with American Cascade and Centennial hops and fermented it with California Ale yeast. The result is a brilliant gold ale with a rich body, mild bitterness and a snappy fresh citrus hop flavor and aroma.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Clear amber with an off-white head. Lovely hoppy, floral aroma. Medium body with some caramel malt but otherwise dominated by floral accents. Dry, hoppy finish. A straightforward and nice brew that really comes closer to an APA than to a Golden Ale. 270306

Hazy dull straw. Woody, slightly lemony hop nose with light pale malts. Some wood and tropical fruit taste. Fairly low bitterness. A bit watery in the finish, and despite some nice hop notes the malts never amount to much.

Bottle shared courtesy of DenverLogan. Poured a medium golden color with an averaged sized white head. I really didn’t get too much our of the aromas and tastes. Some cardboard, maybe some malts and citrus. Thin body.

Bottle... Clear, light golden ale with a small, creamy, white head. Sublte nose; almost nondescript. The flavor is perfectly balanced, but uninspiring. I can only pick up some tanginess up front, followed closely by a laid-back bitterness. Fairly thin on the palate. Medium-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and adequate carbonation. Medium length, almost tart, then dry finish.
