awesome bottle, logo featuring the skyline of New Orleans with the Fluer-de-Lis superimposed over them. I really like what Abita has done in donating money to the Katrina relief fund. The beer has a lovely hops taste, a very good ale. I would put it into the IPA category almost. I liked it a lot and would buy again

Aug 2, 2008 Bottle. Pours orange with an off white head. Sweet aroma with floral hops and caramel. Medium body. Flavor is again sweet with caramel, floral, grass, and a touch of citrus. Not bad.

Jul 29, 2008 Bottle from Frugal McDugal. Pours amber orange with a white head. Aroma of wet grains, floral hops, cara pils, and just a hint of lemon. Light bodied with a watery texture and macro like carbonation. Initial flavor of english pale malts and biscuit, countered by a stale citrus and herbal hoppiness. Short, dry and crisp bitterness. This tastes like a decent pale that was watered down. Way too thin and watery.

Jul 19, 2008 This is like an IPA that is not too overpowering with the hops. I have never seen the Fleur-de-lis label I think this should be categorized just as restoration ale.

Jul 10, 2008 The beer I drank certainly didn’t say Fleru-de-lis on it and it had a totally different label. Pretty average beer, the label also said Pale Ale, not Blond Ale

Jul 3, 2008 12 oz bottle. Medium to light amber pour with a decent small head and some lace. Aroma is biscuity, pale malts, nice fresh baked bread, toast, and some nice floral hops- seemed fresh. Pale malts balanced with a nice herbal and flowery hops- clean and crisp finish and a light hop bitterness. nothing crazy, but just a solid pale ale.
