Commercial Description:
Abita Golden is a crisp, clean continental lager. Just four ingredients is all it takes: American malt, Mt. Hood hops, German lager yeast and pure Abita spring water. As the name applies, Abita Golden has a brilliant gold color.

Another party pack pull, light golden color. nice head but why did it leave so quickly. Easy to drink. I would drink it if you were buying.

picked up as part of a abita variety pack. pours clear with a gold tint, average head which diminished quickly. i just had the abita light before this, is there any difference? maybe not as crisp, a little more citrus.

Poured form a bottle....very light yellow in color. Very nice carbonation. The malt aroma is crisp, but not over powering by any means.. Kind of mild flavored and watery to the mouth. This brew leaves me wanting.....

From the bottle. Surprised this is a premium lager, tasted thin and watery, but a nice drinkable beer while on foot around the French Quarter.

Draft at Abita Brew Pub. Decent head. Nice golden color. Abita’s attempt at a continental lager. Not bad but not great either.

Pale gold with a thin head. Grainy aroma. Grains and mild citrus notes in the flavour. Lite, watery with a touch of bitterness.

very slight hops, pretty much a standard microbrew lager. no real lasting impression left here.

Bottle - Golden amber with thin head. Not much aroma to it, maybe some hoppy notes. Watered down. A bit bitter finish, but not in that good way. Some citrus, and hints of malt, but mainly too watery to tell. Better than some, but not what I expected I guess. Average.
