Poured a slightly hazy pale yellowish golden with a thin foamy white head.
Aromas of a grainy dry biscuit, simple, but nice.
Good carbonation and a crisp, smooth, clean finishing medium bodied mouthfeel.
Pleasant, smooth taste, an nice grain bready with a touch of sour spicy hoppiness, and a clean grainy finish, simple, but effective, good, easy drinkability.
A simple, but really nice lager from Abita, tasty and balanced at a affordable price.

Pours golden with a very slight hazy and a thick white head. Not much aroma, just a tad amount of lager yeast. Flavor, eh.....sweet creamed corn. Very watery palate. Thin finish. Very low hopping rate, like with macros. I could see this as a lawnmower beer or drinking this with spicy crawfish. AskForJenny (656), Ontario, New York, USA

Aroma is dry and grainy with hints of hops and corn. Taste is very dry, stale, and grainy with loads of corn and a slight sweetness at the end. Very dry finish and very watery. xav33 (313), Midland, MI, Michigan, USA

12 oz bottle
Recent bottling, quaffed 08/06
Medium pour in a pint glass.
Poured bright yellow with a quickly diminishing 1/8 inch white head.
Smelt of cornmeal with no hoppiness.
Taste was all corn with a bit of sweetness quickly retreating into a watery finish. Mouthfeel was carbonated and light.
Overall, a light golden that fails on all aspects except for its watery quenching abilities.

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Aug 1, 2006 Crystal clear yellow color with white head. Some decent hop and sweet malt aromas. Smells like a pilsner. Light tasting beer that tastes like a pilsner. Very light with no real flavor flaws. Not too bad. 123456green (46), houston, Texas, USA
