Nice clear golden color (as you would expect considering the name). I like the aroma but I can't quite place it - it's actually slightly odd (but in a good way). This was a very good beer, which surprised me because I wasn't expecting too much. Very crisp, clean and refreshing.

Dec 5, 2008 Short 12oz twistoff bottle. Bright golden yellow color. tall fizzy white head. Aroma of corn meal and straw. Flavor is very sweet. Not a balanced beer. Very little hop presence. Some bitterness. Maybe 1 or 2 IBUs. Corn sugar sweet flavor and that is all. Same ole Abita.

Oct 25, 2008 Golden color with light head retention and some lacing. Some malt on the nose. Smooth entry with light maltiness and slight carbonation that becomes honey sweet in the end. Fairly light body that is a bit watery. Drinks like a typical American lager, only a little better.

Oct 7, 2008 Pours a cloudy yellow. Not much in terms of malting or hops, just a consistant corny/wheat taste. Alchohol hints at a little more than what it is. Decent offering.

Oct 1, 2008 (12oz bottle) Pours a lightly hazy yellow body with a small white head. Light aroma of grass, lemon zest, cereal, and grain. Flavor of grassy hops and grain with a watery mouthfeel.
