TheOrange (361), Kent, Ohio, USA Oct 20, 2007 Pale light yellow pour, with a small white bubbly head. A touch on the cloudy side. Lots and lots of carbonation bubbles raise from the bottom to the top of the glass. Aroma is mostly a light clean malt with citrus character. The flavor is mostly watered down hop, the light malt from the aroma is not very pronounced in the taste. The Finish is fast and thin. A touch of a funny aftertaste. Nothing special here.
unclemattie (1717), Georgia, USA Dec 5, 2008 Short 12oz twistoff bottle. Bright golden yellow color. tall fizzy white head. Aroma of corn meal and straw. Flavor is very sweet. Not a balanced beer. Very little hop presence. Some bitterness. Maybe 1 or 2 IBUs. Corn sugar sweet flavor and that is all. Same ole Abita. Poobah (74), New Orleans, Louisiana, USA Oct 25, 2008 Golden color with light head retention and some lacing. Some malt on the nose. Smooth entry with light maltiness and slight carbonation that becomes honey sweet in the end. Fairly light body that is a bit watery. Drinks like a typical American lager, only a little better. gsmitty80 (550), Washington DC, USA Oct 7, 2008 Pours a cloudy yellow. Not much in terms of malting or hops, just a consistant corny/wheat taste. Alchohol hints at a little more than what it is. Decent offering. blutt59 (955), Dallas, Texas, USA Oct 3, 2008 bottle, thanks to bu11zeye, cloudy yellow color, good foamy head, very full mouthfeel, buttery with lemon and other citrus notes, nice bu11zeye (3887), Frisco, Texas, USA Oct 1, 2008 (12oz bottle) Pours a lightly hazy yellow body with a small white head.
