Commercial Description:
Abita Golden is a crisp, clean continental lager. Just four ingredients is all it takes: American malt, Mt. Hood hops, German lager yeast and pure Abita spring water. As the name applies, Abita Golden has a brilliant gold color.

I was somewhat surprised with this brew. It looked liked piss water when I poured it with the lightest golden I have ever seen. Aroma was of citrus and spice while the taste was a bit of orange peel and belgian spice. Tasted close to a Blue Moon. Wierd. It was decent but not special. Not really worth my purchase again.

Pours a cloudy yellow. Not much in terms of malting or hops, just a consistant corny/wheat taste. Alchohol hints at a little more than what it is. Decent offering.

(12oz bottle) Pours a lightly hazy yellow body with a small white head. Light aroma of grass, lemon zest, cereal, and grain. Flavor of grassy hops and grain with a watery mouthfeel.

Pours pale gold with a thin white head. Aroma is grainy malt and grassy hop. Flavour is clean light grainy malt, faint grassy hop, perhaps a touch of lemon water citrus if you really try.

Pours a light, somewhat hazy yellow with white head. Aroma of slight lemon. Flavor has a slight citris profile. Is watery with high carbonation. Over all, not bad, a good session drinker on a hot day....almost seems like a watered down summer ale.
