BBB63 (3810), La Porte, Indiana, USA Apr 3, 2005 More straw hue than golden with a fizzy and fading head and no lace. The aroma has notes of honeycomb, grassy and herbal hops, lightly toasted malts, and a hint of lemon. The taste is quite grainy with a bit of buttery background. Not much bitterness found here. Rather bland and boring but at least there is some taste opposed to most macroswill. The feel is a tad chalky and fizzy, watery as expected. Well, this would be okay if you just came in from a hard day work in 90 degree heat. Otherwise you should pass.
gsmitty80 (534), Washington DC, USA Oct 7, 2008 Pours a cloudy yellow. Not much in terms of malting or hops, just a consistant corny/wheat taste. Alchohol hints at a little more than what it is. Decent offering. blutt59 (796), Dallas, Texas, USA Oct 3, 2008 bottle, thanks to bu11zeye, cloudy yellow color, good foamy head, very full mouthfeel, buttery with lemon and other citrus notes, nice bu11zeye (3780), Frisco, Texas, USA Oct 1, 2008 (12oz bottle) Pours a lightly hazy yellow body with a small white head. Light aroma of grass, lemon zest, cereal, and grain. Flavor of grassy hops and grain with a watery mouthfeel. Trev (541), Lakeville, Minnesota, USA Sep 19, 2008 Pours pale gold with a thin white head.
Aroma is grainy malt and grassy hop.
Flavour is clean light grainy malt, faint grassy hop, perhaps a touch of lemon water citrus if you really try.
Swalden_28 (640), McKinney, Texas, USA Aug 29, 2008 Pours a light, somewhat hazy yellow with white head. Aroma of slight lemon. Flavor has a slight citris profile. Is watery with high carbonation. Over all, not bad, a good session drinker on a hot day....almost seems like a watered down summer ale.
