Resin and citrus hop nose, mild bready malts. Medium body. Zippy. Copper color. Snojerk321 (1962), San Diego, California, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 16, 2009 12oz bottle. Pours a hazy blood orange color with a small/medium off white head that left a good amount of lacing. Nice floral hop and toasted malt aromas. Flavor was sweeter than expected, not bad. sallad (111), USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 14, 2009 Lightly hazy, bright copper. Thin but rocky cream head. Big citrus - pineapple and grapefruit - and light toast and toffee in the nose. Nice bitterness, but not overpowering (as can be found in the american versions) balanced by creamy malt with honey notes. Finish is long with bitter citrus and toast. maniac (2628), Richmond, Virginia, USA

Clear copper body with a large frothy off-white head. Caramel and resiny hops aroma. Fairly malty and caramel flavor, citrus, floral and resiny hops. Medium full body with moderate carbonation. | 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 10, 2009 12 oz. bottle - Poured hazy copper color with medium sized frothy head.
Aroma - light hops, malt and grain. KInda boring for an IPA.
Flavor - quite nice malt and hop taste. Needs more hop bite, would not consider this an IPA.
Palate - light to medium mouthfeel with below average carbonation. Finish is dry and aftertaste is strange.
Overall - At first I thought the brew was pretty good, then as I continued to drink it became worse. The aroma before taking drink is off. This does not taste like a typical IPA!? yayforbeer (647), Orange Park, Florida, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 9, 2009 Single from Total Wine $1.49. Twist-off cap made me a bit apprehensive and I almost didn’t buy it because of other disappointing offerings from this brewer. Turned out to be a fairly decent IPA, a bit restrained and mild, but tasty and sessionable. Nice fresh hop aroma. Flavor was interesting and hop-forward with mild sweet pale malts in the background. A bit thin but not seriously so, and I’m sure the intent was for a very sessionable beer (back to the twist-off cap). Firm but not overdone bitterness. Dry-hop flavor is really good. Overall it was much better than expected. I might even go back for a sixer. jeremytoni (1108), Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 7, 2009 From a bottle poured amber with a fair amount of head. Nice hoppy flavor with a lasting finish. GodOfThunder (873), Orlando, Florida, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 31, 2008 Bottle at Coops Place on Decatur in New Orleans. Great food. Bouquet is strong sweet citrus hops and pine. Taste is lighter and more malty than the nose would suggest, but still a solid IPA. Nothing really new here, but a good IPA.
