Aroma is blue cheese and hops, with a little malt. Lemony. Excellent IPA, very fresh. BeerBlockaid (548), Jacksonville, Florida, USA

Hangs around for duration. Nose is sweet with candied malts and alcohol. Taste is bitter, and at first, abrasive. warms up nicely after a while and opens up to citrus and candied malts, bitter hops, and some pine notes. not too bad. gets kind of watery towards the end. A pure white head... something I wasnt expecting. Otherwise, a pretty good, clean IPA. Drinks more like a pale. My favorite so far from Abita. Will drink again. ROGUE (676), Newark, Delaware, USA

with a slight cotton candy flare with slight toffee accents. Pretty decent beer, though not quite bitter for an IPA, easily sessionable, rather tasty! PilsnerPeter (2617), Flushing, New York, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 5, 2008 From a fresh cask at Barcade: Pours a deep hazy orange with a thin off white head. The aroma is very crisp and citrusy. Smells like Centennials were used giving off a spicy character along with fresh tangerines. Great creamy body. The flavor has a crisp citrusy hop character. Softly malty, giving it a biscuity base. The hops are at the fore, and offer both a spiciness and fruitiness. Creamy citruses, lychee and a piny bitterness. This was surprisingly a great IPA. If it is always in the condition I had it, it is very underrated.
