| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 7, 2008 12oz bottle. copper orange pour with almost nonexistent off white head. the aroma blew me away - strong floral, citrus, caramel malt, pepper and pine hops. The taste doesn’t measure up to the aroma, but not bad. Starts with nice hop and citrus then goes to caramel and bread. the finish is malt - stingy and chalky (is that possible?). very different from start to finish. I don’t think I’ve had an Abita I liked - so this was surprisingly good... relatively speaking. jeffwilliams11 (310), hooterville, Michigan, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Jul 31, 2008 this is a really drinkable beer. nice amber color, quality sustained head. mild hop flavor, not overly bitter. sort of tastes like a low alcohol barleywine with the maltieness and citrus hop flavor. | 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jul 30, 2008 Nice red/amber colour with a firm foam. For an american IPa not so much hop aroma. Aroma of bensaldehyde / amaretto. This is also present in the taste. Rather sweet and lacks a bitt of bitterness. Much caramell malts. phishpond417 (1953), Madison, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 28, 2008 This beer pours a very bright coloured, clear copper colour with no head but decent spotted lacing. Aroma is slightly hopped, fruity and a little bit of grapefruit on the nose. a little biscuity as well. mouthfeel is light, but bubbly and hoppy. semi sweet at first but finishes pretty dry. nice beer! fattibobatti (246), Tallahassee, Florida, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 26, 2008 12 oz. bottle. Clear, amber pour with a thin, off white head. Heavy lacing. Aroma of caramel malts with a touch of honey. Flavor is a mixed bag. The piney hops were nice, but the malt backbone was lacking. Weird biscuity finish. Ok beer. ross (1709), weddington, South Carolina, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jul 22, 2008 Another beer from Sean. Even though I can buy these locally, I chose to have Sean send me one because I felt sorry for him since he lives in Nashville. Maybe he will waste his money on a new Paul Gay Smith guitar. This one pours out a brown color, without much of a head. Sweet and fruity smelling with some hops infused. Taste is decent, smooth and refreshing. Kind of hoppy, but not a lot. Interesting enough, but not something I would want to drink a lot of. BelgianBeerGal (1309), Sabbatical in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Jul 22, 2008 Bottled. Better than average beer but not really a great IPA. The bitterness was a little harsh and flat. No real characteristic to the bitterness, just seemed like bitterness for bitterness sake. Better than a regular beer though.
