| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 26, 2008 A rather good IPA, though I admit that I’m no fan of the genre. The palate is well-done toast and grass, clover hops, and spring water. tsarman (794), Northern, New Jersey, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 26, 2008 Decent mix of sweet and bitter hop. Light aroma, some roasty toastiness. Not too hoppy, actually could use a little bit more. macguy (146), Tallahassee, Florida, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jun 24, 2008 Purchased at the Winn Dixie in Abita Springs. Dark red brown - impressive white head. It’s an ipa with the volume turned down. This could be a "starter" ipa for folks not used to this style.

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 23, 2008 Picked up from the singles shelf at Green’s, Jockamo poured out amber in color, clear of body, and with a foamy one finger head. Not many streamers in the liquid after the initial fizz, making me think that this was a filtered and force carbonated beer. The smell was mildly hopped with citric and earthy smells mixing with caramel. The taste was milder than I like my IPAs to be. Hop content was modest and only barely ahead of the sugary malt. I was surprised for find out that this was over 6% ABV and would have been contraband a few years ago in Georgia. It drinks much simpler and lighter than the actual strength. The body was medium thick but not very sticky. Not very bold, but not flawed in any way either. Might try again someday. rustychiles (1058), Mesa, Arizona, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jun 22, 2008 Pours a copper color with a foamy white head. Aroma is hops and sweet malt. Flavor is malt and hops with quite a bit of sweetness balancing out the hop bitterness. I enjoyed this because it had the sweetness balancing out the hops that you usually find in hop monsters, but this is much less thick and syrupy. Good IPA. mcmd (144), Louisville, Kentucky, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 19, 2008 Pours clear copper, minimal head. Aroma of pine hops and sweet malt. Taste is fairly sweet and malty up front with bittering hops at the finish. Thin body, almost too easy drinking for an IPA. Nothing exciting, but a nice drinkable beer. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 18, 2008 Bottle. Pretty, translucent copper pour. Small dense white foam head. Nose is piney hops, caramel, toffee, and sweet malts. Maybe even some Bit O Honey. Taste is more pine and toffee, more Bit O Honey, some sweet malts, and light caramel. Lots of Bit O Honey as I go through this with piney, resinous hops. Rather tasty! Body is medium with lingering bitterness and mild carbonation. The finish is more toffee, pine laden hops, caramel, sweet, chewy malts and honey notes. Silphium (2152), Haslett, Michigan, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jun 17, 2008 Clear copper body with effervescent carbonation; thick, puffy buff head that leaves nice lacing. Sweet aroma with resiny hops and a caramely, toasty malt backbone. Piney. Reminds me of a Stone beer. The body is rather thin, bitter, and resiny, with heavy emphasis on rather flavorless bittering hops. Prickly. Bitter, almost caustic finish. Not particularly pleasant.
