I’m actually very happy with this beer, good hoppiness but nothing to bowl you over - great balance. BeerFanDan17 (626), Land O Lakes, Florida, USA

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jun 10, 2008 Pours a amber color with off white head. Aroma is caramel malt, earth, and a weak amount of citrus hops. I don’t quite get these weak-arse IPAs. Give me some pine or citrus, but these are nothing more then a APA or a strong amber ale IMHO. Taste is the same as aroma, earthy with caramel malt and bits of citrus hops. Not horrible, but not an IPA in my book. LtJudge (432), Muskego, Wisconsin, USA

Aromas of citrus hops and sweet caramel malt. Flavor is of hops, grapefruit and citrus blended with caramel malts. Nice hop bitter finish. Not too overpowering but very refreshing! | 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 6, 2008 Bottle. Smells like blood and hops. Looks like a mediocre amber thing. Taste is a berry-like hops with a tinge of grapefruit/banana. Average mouthfeel. Not bad, overall. rwaldron (2), River Ridge, Louisiana, USA does not count | 4.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 4/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 19/20 | Jun 1, 2008 The hops flavor is just right for an IPA. I love this beer, and I think nothing else accompanies hot boiled crawfish like a Jockamo [Mardi Gras] Indian Pale Ale blindeyedbetty (152), Arlington, Virginia, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 1, 2008 12 oz. bottle pours cloudy bright-copper-penny color with 1 1/2 finger of frothy off-white head that lingers. Aroma is of pine, grass and sweet herbs. Front palate is warm and almost flowery with a caramel tinge. Middle palate is malty and the finish is a strong punch of hops with a clingy bitter aftertaste. Nice medium mouthfeel, an easily drinkable IPA that can be pleasingly paired with a variety of selections from chicken to spiced peel & eat shrimp or a salad with a strong dressing. This would stand up well and not overpower. beerguy101 (3946), Newark, California, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 31, 2008 This IPA pours a medium orange gold color from a 12oz bottle. Small sized white foamy head. The aroma is citrusy and floral. A medium to light bodied IPA. The malts are caramel and fruity. The hops are citrusy and floral. Nice carbonation. Kind of a milder, less bitter IPA, a very muted hop profile and the flavors are kind of mild. Nicely balanced. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
