Nice hoppy aroma. Pours a slightly hazy orange/amber with a thin white head. Nice caramel malts to start with, then a bit of bitterness to balance it out. Very drinkable.

Cask at Barcade. Deep orange beer, cloudy/hazy. Aroma is loaded with rich orange/tangerine over a soft bready maltiness. Flavour is very hoppy and rich but not all that bitter. Soft pine and grapefruit. Balanced and quite tasty. Very delicious... just what the doctor ordered. 12 oz bottle. Deep amber beer, off-white head. Very cloudy. Aroma is quite lovely, sweet orange peel, grapefruit and a nice soft caramelly malt base. Flavour is well-balanced with a light lingering breadiness on the back. Moderate bitterness and a lingering piny finish. Nice beer, especially from these guys. 8 4 7 3 14

Poured a rich copper color with a nice head. Aroma was great - very nice citrus smell. The taste was disapointing. The color, head, and aroma gave me high hopes but the taste didn’t follow in line. I was expecting more hops but they just weren’t there. In the end I would classify it as an average IPA.

Bottle and served in my GI IPA tulip: Coppery hue with a mostly lasting frothy head and very good lace upon the glass. The aroma has notes of resiny and piney hops, light grapefruit ester, caramel and bready malt, hint of mint and some peppery vapours as well. The taste starts mildly acidic and fruity with a fair amount of hop bitterness backed by a layer of biscuity malt. The finish is a tad chalky and a bit of hop spice. The mouth feel is lively and slightly sharp, a tad thin for the flavor profile, minerally finish. All in all a solid offering and drinkable IPA. Better than most beers from this brewery.

Bottle is very trippy. Amber, sweet fruit scent, diminishing in the flavor of the beer itself, hops, lemon. decent.

nice bottle . 12 ounce from Glen ville beverage. Copper color, nice head that hangs out a while. Hoppy of course, which I like inthe summer. It is alos citrusy but I had to think about it.

12 oz bottle. Rich copper color, with an active but quickly dissipating head. Somewhat muted nose, with hints of grapefruit. Taste is slightly sweet and biscuit-y up front, with a clean and crisp finish. Not a top tier IPA, but a very good effort.

Reddish copper, with a decent sized white head. Actually more of an off-white, i guess. Smells a bit fruitym, then a bit hoppy. Flavor is...odd. It citrusy fruity, but the fruityness is kind of - well, my notes say like a lemon dum-dum sucker. Candyish and artificial. Then a nice sticky hop bite. Actually, despite (or becasue of) all the odd flavors, i liked this one. At the Raleigh WBF.
