| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Apr 23, 2009 nice clear copper color with foamy and pillowy two finger head. Floral but muted hoppy notes with quaint touches of pine and distant grapefruit citrus. The body has a nice woodsy backbone of hop touch with a quality caramel toasted sugar roundedness. In all it provides for a nice amount of balance and total mouthfeel and overall yields a pretty nice brew. Barrios (861), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 21, 2009 12oz bottle. Pours a golden amber body with an off-white, lacing head. Smells of citrus and sweet hops with a caramel, malty nose. Tastes the same but more citrus hops. Finish is a little bitter with some sweetness. hamsterglory (48), Bryan, Texas, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Apr 21, 2009 this might be the worst IPA i have ever tasted. bought it tonight for $1.89 a single bottle at a store in small town texas. it was worth about $0.89. zero nose. could barely detect beer in the nose. the appearance suggested hard lagers or the red-headed step-sister of age-old schiltz. nothing bold or light refracting. the palate ran thin, emotionless, juliette lewis performance in CHRISTMAS VACATION. aftertaste yielded the slightest hint of hops though not enough to truly indicate what flavor profile. maybe burnt? maybe dead pine? not sure. funny thing: i like abita. i like their turbodog, purple haze and draft root beer. still, they did not impress me with this IPA. thanks, but not thanks. i need my buck-eighty back. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Apr 17, 2009 On tap at Evans. Pours a nice amber with a small head, nice hopy aroma. Flavor is hoppy ands sweet, neither stands out and both are a bit flat. mnovacanes (49), Munster, Indiana, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Apr 17, 2009 Appearance: more on the reddish copper side; below average head retention; off-white head; moderate haze
Aroma: hops emphasize resin and pine; malt also makes a strong showing
Flavor: medium hop flavor; resin, pine, and a cheaper less-intense fruitiness; medium hop bitterness at best; malt still makes its presence felt, perhaps too much; malt is medium with too much toast and caramel; better on the finish
Mouthfeel: good, smooth, medium-bodied feel BroSpud (615), , Massachusetts, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Apr 15, 2009 12oz screwtop. A drinkable IPA but nothing too spectacular. Too many really good IPAs out there to waste your time with this one. lumpsowers (252), Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 12, 2009 Copper pour, frothy head, heavy lacing. Winy, hoppy aroma. Low carb, slightly watery, bitter hoppy brew. Some fruity, apple. Acidic and jumpy. Not quite as powerful as I look for in an IPA.

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 14/20 | Apr 6, 2009 Deep copper color...somewhat hazy. Thick, fluffy head. Citrus aroma, with subtle notes of caramel. Noticeable hop flavor and a touch of malt blend nicely in the front...smooth mouthfeel for the style. Back has a bold citrus tang. Dry hop flavor lingers throughout the finish. An odd, yet tasty IPA...pretty well balanced, with a very unique flavor profile.
