italarican (157), Astoria, New York, USA Jun 14, 2009 Pours an almost pastel yellow, fairly clear, with standard white head. Aroma is grains, a bit of malt, and a slight hint of citrus. Flavors is light malt and a hint of floral hops, which isn’t all together noteworthy. Light body. Pretty good for what it is but lacking overall. ChainGangGuy (2523), Kennesaw, Georgia, USA Jun 11, 2009 Appearance: Pours a clear, light amber body with a thin, bubbly, white head.
Smell: As is the way with light lagers, the nose is pretty lifeless, but, at least it’s not entirely absent. Very meager hints of waterlogged grains and floral notes.
Taste: Tremendously light pale malts with a faint touch of toasted grain. Even at this early stage, the flavor begins to thin and grows increasingly watery. Hops provide some vague floral hints and a tiny bit of bitterness. Minor rebound of graininess prior to the dry, clean, but very thin finish.
Mouthfeel: Light-bodied to nobody’s surprise. Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: Water-like refreshment. Thirst: quenched! Above average for a light lager, but, even the best light lager is still a light lager. kp (8400), Woodstock, Georgia, USA May 25, 2009

tdcritch (112), Missouri, USA Mar 4, 2009 Bottle in Louisiana with some fried catfish after a long day of cutting concrete with my dad. Very easy to drink. Malty aroma not much flavor. Smooth on the palate. GodOfThunder (855), Orlando, Florida, USA Dec 31, 2008 On tap at the brewpub. It is a typical light beer. Not much going on. Lots of grain. I would put it up there with any other light beer. Refreshing. jcwattsrugger (5223), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Dec 7, 2008 on tap-pours a white head and yellow color. Aroma is sweet grain. Taste is light body, sweet grain, secondary hops-lemon.
MrBunn (1520), Western, Pennsylvania, USA Nov 21, 2008 Bottle. So this is the last part of a slummin’ with light beers night. Pour is a little darker (yellow) than the previous ratings, but head is virtually nonexistent. Aromas are a robust mix of straw and grain (well, by robustI mean for the company this keeps.) Flavor is an annoyingly sweet mix of malt and straw... not even grass, but that sweet and obnoxious smell you get from an old bale of slightly wet straw. Still, in comparison with some of its AB peers, this is a best in class for the night. I won’t be back ever again, but my Abita Light experience wasn’t completely awful.
