| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 13, 2009 12oz bottle. Pours golden orange with a small off white head. Smells earthy, nutty, malt, and a tiny bit of grassy hops. Tastes somewhat woodsy, very nutty as it warms, sticky sweet malt. and floral hop dry finish. Im not a fan pecans, but this was a nice beer to try, and I may drink it again. MrBunn (1563), Western, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 10, 2009 Bottle. Pours a coppery brown and has a bit of a head, but not much. Pecans and nuts dominate the nose, but it has a bit of toffee and autumn leaves, too. Flavor and mouthfeel are both prtty light, but pretty nice. Lots of nuts and medium maltiness here, but it still is pretty mild. jbuzz (664), South Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA

Being that the name is Pecan Harvet Ale i expected some hint of the pecan. As it is nutty i could not taste pecan. As a straight Amber it is pretty good. Rich slight malt and nuttiness. Maybe a little dryness.

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 9, 2009 Pours a medium amber with a small off-white head. Malty nose. The nose promises a rich malty pale ale. The taste falls short of the promise of the nose by a little bit. It’s malty enough, but there’s a tartness that seems out of place and a tongue tickling carbonation that’s just a little bit weird. The pecan taste is quite noticeable, and could even be dialed back a little bit. Some mild hops kick in at the end to make for a fairly nice tart/bitter finish. For a somewhat better example of a "pecan ale", try Lazy Magnolia Pecan Ale. WakeandBake (443), Greenville, Michigan, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 6, 2009 Bottle. A clear amber color pour with a two finger white head, medium carbonation , a good amount of jagged lacing left . Aroma of light sweet malts, yeast , brown sugar and a faint note of nuts . Flavor is quite subtle, nutty as promised , some light hops , and more brown sugar , no single flavor stands out , quite balanced but not as malty as I had hoped . Thin body , slightly oily mouthfeel , with an almost dry finish leaving a light hint of roasted pecans. Drinkable but not sessionable for me , a good brew but nothing special. fluffy (229), Florida, USA
